A Local Graphic Design & Marketing Firm That Exceeds Expectations.

By: Laurie Brian

When she was a child, Linda Gallegos was fascinated by design and color and the possibility to produce creative, impactful artwork. But she had no idea her knack for design would launch one of the most successful full-service graphic design and marketing firms in Denver. “I have always been a very visual person” says Gallegos. “And I have a passion for taking or building a brand and exceeding expectations.”

Gallegos followed her passion and has taken it to the highest level as president of Tamarind Design + Marketing, a full-service graphic and marketing agency founded in 1984. Over the years, Tamarind Design + Marketing has built an enviable client list that includes Children’s Hospital, American Academy of Audiology, Marion Downs Hearing Foundation, Reed Business and Colorado Children’s Chorale.

Equally important to Gallegos is her work for non-profits. She recently donated time and talents to create compelling and creative marketing materials for the Junior League of Denver as an organization, in addition to the 2007 Holiday Mart, Annual Golf Classic and many other League programs and events. As a business owner, Gallegos enjoys working with organizations like the Junior League because of the people and because they give back to the community.

“The people I have worked with are wonderful,” Gallegos says. “Paige Lentz (of the JLD Communication Council) is an awesome business woman and full of energy. Annie Herricks (of the JLD PR/Marketing Committee) is a delight to work with. Plus the projects are both fun and meaningful.” Gallegos is a Denver native who graduated from West High School. After obtaining a degree in commercial art, Gallegos is now capitalizing on her love of design. Tamarind Design + Marketing offers branding, logos, web design, and marketing. Their specialty is creating marketing pieces and collateral for events, including logos, letterhead package, websites, programs, billboards, brochures and web design and content.

Today, the firm’s successes and results-oriented marketing efforts are proof enough of Gallegos’ lifelong passion: Some of the current campaigns she’s been proud to create include the advertising for Broadlands – a golf course community in Broomfield. Because of Tamarind Design + Marketing’s creative, cutting-edge marketing efforts, Broadlands is reporting that sales are far exceeding expectations. Tamarind Design also designed marketing materials for a Colorado Children’s Chorale concert event featuring Natalie Cole and Linda Rhondstadt.
